God; the next big thing in my life by: PATRICIA SUKORE

God is the next big thing in my life; who or what is the next big thing in your life?
decide today because tomorrow might be too late.
Who would you rather spend eternity with?
with God, in heaven and all His angels singing Halleluyah to His Name
Or with the devil and his fallen angels

Decide for God today. Make Him the next big thing in your life, and
you'll realise He's the best choice ever

WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN YOUR HAND?

what is that thing in your hand? God is asking you, what you own. You cannot say that you are totally helpless or, that you are poor and useless. In the Bible, the widow of Zarephat in the book of Kings had a meal that was supposed to be the last; for her and her kid. But because she used what she had to glorify God - she never lacked again in her life.
What about Moses, what army did he have with which to fight the Egyptians in order to set the children of Isreal free? I put it to you that he had none, but he had a shepherd staff in his hand. God delivered the people of Isreal by the hand of Moses with a staff.
I ask again, what is it that you have in your hand? use it to glorify God and you will never remain the same again.

God Is Awesome

Have you ever met someone who can love as He does? I think not. Have you ever been swallowed up in guilt and someone who you've made your enemy came to your rescue? Is it a small thing for someone to love you so much irrespective of the fact that you have wronged Him so much, cause His Son to be nailed to the cross; so that you can receive redemption for your soul - which was hell bound. Can you beat the fact that He supplies all your needs even the unvoiced ones. He makes all things beautiful in your life. Time will fail me to mention how He keeps you safe by day and by night, how He fights your unseen battles and how He makes everything to work together for your good. This God is totally awesome!!!

HAVE YOU BEEN TO THE CROSS LATELY? By Patricia Sukore

Have you ever stopped for a moment, to think on all the good things God has done for you; especially, in the last three quaters of this year? Have you paused to say thank you Jesus, for His death for you on Calvary cross - amidst your very busy schedule? Have you decided to put the past behind you and run the heavenly race that is set before you?
Have you found a place for God's people in your heart, because He does have a place for you in His heart.
Do you think as God think : yearning for the unsaved souls as He does?
Do you still remember how you were saved from a deserving death?
Have you forgotten how Jesus Christ the son of God took your place in the gallows?

Have you indeed been to the cross lately?

REVIVAL FIRE

Many people slowly drift apart from their faith. Soon they start to lose their personal contact with God. This is a terrible thing. God the Father, is the reason why we are all here, and even though some things are hard to believe, there is a way to slowly come back to your faith - Revival.

Read on, and be nourished by the word of God. Don't be mad at yourself. It is very easy to lose contact with Salvation. Realize that you can find your way back through Jesus Christ the Son of God, and be better than ever. God loves you and desires to forgive you, all He wants is for you to love him and fulfill His purpose concerning your life.

Attend Bible studies and church related functions. The Bible recommends believers fellowship together

Read the Bible. Specifically, focus on the promises of God. He has promised to always be with us. He always keeps his promises and even says in the bible we can test his promises. James MacDonald, in his book Always True, tells you where to find these promises in scripture.

Pray without ceasing. Prayer is not just talking to God, but also listening to him. Be honest about your doubts and struggles. MacDonald writes, “when you’re going through hardship, or when you’re heavyhearted and burdened, God rolls up His sleeves and moves toward you in a way that’s unlike any other time. Pray specifically for God's pentecostal / revival fire.

WHO IS AMONG YOU WHO... FEARS THE LORD...YET WALKS IN DARKNESS? ISAIAH 50 : 10 AMP

GOD PROMISES US PEACE, BUT NOT SMOOTH SAILING OR IMMUNITY FROM LIFE'S PROBLEMS.

The Bible says you can fear the Lord...yet...walk in darkness and...trouble. Check your Bible: (a) Job lived an exemplary life yet he lost everything. Troubled and perplexed, he cried, "God has blocked my way (and)... plunged my path into darkness" (Job 19 : 8 NLT)  (b) Jeremiah after preaching to a rebellious people who beat and imprisoned him, said, "Oh that...my eyes were a fountain... I would weep day and night for... my people" (Jeremiah 9 : 1 NIV)   (c) Paul suffered so much he "despaired even of life" (2 Corinthians 1 : 8)

Faith is like film; it's developed in the dark. Dark days make us lean on God in ways we normally wouldn't. The truth is, if our faith was never tested we wouldn't be motivated to pursue God and draw closer to Him. Edward Mote wrote: "When darkness seems to hide His face, I rest on His unchanging grace. When all around my soul gives way, then He's all my hope and stay. On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand." It's easy to praise God when your health is good and your bills are paid. It's when light suddenly turns to darkness that we discover what our faith is made of and where our trust truly lies.

IF YOU DON'T WHO WILL?

What a father says to his children in the privacy of his home isn't heard by the world, but it's clearly heard by posterity. A mega church pastor writes:  "Years ago I was invited to the White House to meet the president and a few key religious leaders. It was the first such invitation this country boy ever recieved. However, when I called home I discovered my son's basketball game was rescheduled for that weekend, and I'd already missed one. The question became one of simple priority, "What's the most important?" The government has been running without me for years, so I called the White House and said I wouldn't be coming (They recovered from the news beautifully!) I went to the game and had the fun of seeing my son shoot the winning basket."

Paul said, "Be... careful... how you live...making the most of every opportunity" (Eph 5 verse 15-16 NIV). How you spend your time reveals your real values and priorities. Dad are you spending quality time with your children? Karl Marx said to conquer a nation you just have to block a transfer of values, morals and beliefs between generations. Solomon said, "The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him" ( Proverbs 20 verse 7 NKJV). Dad, before you know it, they'll be gone but what legacy will they take with them? your kids are like mirrors, they reflect what they see and it's hard for them to see God as their Heavenly Father unless He's clearly visible in their earthly one. So, take them by the hand...lead them in the way of the Master (Ephesians 6 verse 4 TM). Tell the next generation... of... His power and the wonders He has done. "If you don't who will?"

WONDERFUL GOD

Someone once said something that before then I never gave it a thought. The person said that we humans are limited in what we can do for ourselves, he went further to state that when we are having difficulties sleeping, we can choose to use some kind of sleeping pill; but, on the other hand, there is no waking up pill. It is just by His mercies we wake up everyday - He chooses to wake us up morning by morning.
WHAT A WONDERFUL GOD!!!

Have you ever given it a thought, why He choose to bless you, to keep you safe from harm, to take you from one point of destination to another under His watchful eyes, to protect you and yours and to make your life worth living?
IT IS BECAUSE HE IS A WONDERFUL GOD!!!

Has it ever occured to you how fleeting this life really is?

WAITING ON GOD 2

Though it seems it will never come,
though it lingers,
though things around makes it look bleak;
I will wait on Him

However broken hearted I am,
However disappointed,
However sad;
I will wait on Him

I will wait on him
who alone has the power,
who alone has the strenght,
who alone has the ability;

To make it happen,
To deliver,
To bless,
To heal,
To elevate,

I WILL SURELY WAIT ON HIM
